Improv Engineers Visits Carlisle Interconnect Technologies (CIT)

A team from Improv Engineers led by Senior Energy Engineer, Jan Cieremans, conducted a successful site visit at Carlisle Interconnect Technologies (CIT) in San Diego, California. Our team enjoyed a strong collaboration with facility management, Jasmin G. and Paul McKinney. Together, we worked to obtain a wealth of insightful information and analysis for energy improvements.

We at Improv would like to thank the management team at CIT for their expert guidance during our time at their facility. We hope to enjoy many more fruitful site visits just like this one in the coming year!

Wondering what a typical site visit from Improv looks like? Here’s how it goes:

First, we get to know each other! More specifically, the details of the client’s facility, project, and energy usage. Then, our team is guided on a walk around the site to better understand the facilities and day-to-day processes.

After this, the Improvineers will have a team huddle to organize their thoughts and any questions or information requests. Here is where we start to narrow down the details that call for examination. Then, we have a working session with the client involving Q&A, information-gathering, and planning our investigations.

Finally, we get down to the nitty gritty of it—the Improv team dives back into the facility and takes the necessary measurements, observations, and notes. To wrap up the day, there is one short, final meeting.
